In short: Dosis Kids has no accounts and no server, and it doesn't collect, sell or share personal data. It doesn't store patient data. What you save (your formulations) stays on your device only. The developer doesn't receive any data.
What information the app uses
To calculate, Dosis Kids uses what you enter on screen: weight, dose per kg, interval and formulation. These values are used only to show the result and aren't saved: they're cleared when you close the app or tap “Limpiar” (Clear).
If you unlocked “Save formulations”, the app stores the formulations you create on your device: name, dose per kg, dose type, interval and concentration. They never include patient data.
What the app doesn't do
- It doesn't ask you to create an account or sign in.
- It has no server of its own: the developer doesn't receive any of your data.
- It doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
- It doesn't share or sell information to third parties.
- It doesn't store names, weights or any other patient data.
- It doesn't sync with iCloud: formulations stay only on the device where you created them.
That's why it's listed on the App Store as “Data Not Collected”.
Purchases
The one-time “Save formulations” purchase is processed by Apple (App Store). The app only checks whether the purchase is active on your account. The developer doesn't receive your payment details or your identity.
Backups and deletion
If you have device backups turned on (in iCloud or on your computer), your formulations may be included in those backups, which Apple manages according to your settings.
If you delete the app, the formulations stored on that device are deleted. Restoring the purchase brings back the unlock, not a copy of your formulations.
Clinical use
Dosis Kids is a calculation aid. Always double-check the result before giving a medication; it doesn't replace professional judgment or a medical order.
Terms of use
Dosis Kids is governed by Apple’s standard terms of use (EULA).
Changes to this policy
If a future version changes how information is handled, I’ll update this page and the date above before releasing it.
